| The Quarterly Journal of the History of Towns and Cities in Iran and Islam has been approved by the Department of History of Kharazmi University with the aim of establishing an interdisciplinary research and collaboration framework in the fields of history, geography, archeology, urban sociology, art and architecture. The Executive Board of the Journal endeavors to utilize the editorial board and expert reviewers of these six fields selected from among the specialists in these disciplines at Iran's top-tier universities in the world, a step towards expanding research in this field and its related studies. And provide a platform for researchers in the city to familiarize themselves with the latest research in the field and the possibility of developing interdisciplinary collaborations. |
