پیشاهنگی از اوایل قرن بیستم میلادی در جهان معمول شد و اصفهان نخستین شهر ایران بود که این شیوه تربیتی در مدارس آن رواج یافت. هدف از این نوشتار، تبیین چگونگی پیدایش و تکوین سازمان پیشاهنگی در اصفهان است که به روش «مطالعۀ روندی»<span dir="LTR"> (Trend study)</span> و «اِسنادی» (<span dir="LTR">Documentary</span>) و با مراجعه به برخی بانیان این سازمان و استفاده از «تاریخ شفاهی» (<span dir="LTR">Oral history</span>) انجام گرفته است. <span dir="LTR"></span><br>
پرسش اصلی این است که پیشاهنگی چگونه در اصفهان پدیدار شد و تأثیرات فرهنگی و اجتماعی این شیوه تربیتی در اصفهان چگونه بود.<br>
این بررسی نشان می­دهد، اصفهان نخستین شهر ایران بود که پیشاهنگی در آن شکل گرفت و پیوسته رتبه بالایی در انجام فعالیتهای آن داشت. فراز و فرود فعالیتهای پیشاهنگی در این شهر نیز بیشتر ناشی از اوضاع سیاسی بود و دولتیشدن این سازمان اگر چه به افزایش کمّی تشکیلات آن انجامید؛ لیکن مانع ژرفایافتن این شیوه تربیتی در بطن جامعه شد.<span dir="LTR"></span>
Scouts was common in the world from the early 20<sup>th</sup> century and Isfahan is the first city where this educational method spread at schools.<br>
The aim of this paper is to explain how this organization was found out and developed in Isfahan.<br>
It was used ‘trend study’ and ‘documentary’ method with referring to the founders of the organization and ‘oral history’ of them.<br>
This study shows that Isfahan is the first city in Iran where scouts formed and it had frequently high position in its activities.<br>
Ups and downs of the scouts activities in this city was based on the political situation and changing this organization into a state one although caused the quality increase of it.<br>
On the other hand prevented the spread of this educational method into the deep situate of the society.
